OPN Playgroup

The OPN Playgroup has started up again!  They meet every Monday at the youth center from 9:30 -11am. 

Need Volunteer!

Just wanted to put out there that the lady who was in charge of organizing the Swap parties, is no longer able to do it.  So if anyone is interested please let us know!  I think usually they held them in the rec rooms of the Osan towers so that it was convenient for most to meet! 

With the fall and winter weather coming, it would be nice to be able to trade out any warm clothing you don't wear or that children have grown out of! 

This would also be good for trading toys or anything else! 

Again, please consider volunteering-  I think its a great idea that shouldn't go away!

Osan Elementary Meet & Greet

Reminder that Meet & Greet is this Friday, 27 August from 1:30-2:30.


Spirit Shop will be open & we will have sign ups for Popcorn Fridays ($5/child/year).

Volunteer Sign Ups will be available for Popcorn Fridays, Family Fun Night Committee, & Fundraising Committee.

Elections for Elected PTO Board Positions (Pres, VP, Sec, & Treas) will be held on Open House Night (13 Sept). If you are interested in running, pick up a Nomination Ballot on Friday.

We are still looking for a Fundraising Chair and possibly a Popcorn Friday Chair.

Town Hall Meeting

Good Afternoon,

-The 51st Fighter Wing Commander will be conducting a Town Hall Meeting for

all Osan Air base Residents to discuss any and all issues affecting them and

their families. Special emphasis will be for parents of children in the

Osan DoDEA schools.



- Purpose: Provide Osan residents with vital information on what is

Happening on the base that will affect them and their families, a forum for

their questions and concerns, plus a special visit by the DoDDS

Superintendent for Korea on the academic programs for the new school year.



- Date/Time: Wed, 25 Aug / Start 1800 hrs, Finish 1900 hrs

- Location: Base Theater

- AAFES will delay start of movie, The Expendables, until 2000 hrs
