Hello,
my name is Sarah Luck. I'm a military spouse and personal trainer. I currently teach Spin and AB's classes at the fitness center and just recently signed a contract with the gym to start personal training. I thought the OPN would be a perfect place to start advertising. Anyone interested in hiring a personal trainer can do so by speaking with someone at the front desk at the fitness center, or by email me at sarah.mytrainer.luck@gmail.com
Thanks so much for your help OPN!

***Osan Trick or Treat Bash UPDATE***
I wanted to pass along some other information that is important
to know. We need your help and that is addressed in item #3 of this
email.
1. The Osan Trick or Treat Bash is scheduled for Thursday, 1530-1730
hrs. In some advertisements, it shows an end time of 9:30 pm.
2. We have a large turnout for the costume contest. Last year, we had
52 interested people but this year, it is approaching 100. We don't
want to take any opportunities away from anyone to compete so anyone
that comes to the Costume Contest at the O'Club will be able to enter.
Bottom line ... no need for further registrations. We will quickly
register you there at the club when you arrive. Our volunteers have a
good plan to adjust to the large amount of children that we are
expecting. As a reminder, the Costume Contest is scheduled for
1745-1845. Please make sure you show by 1745 for registration.
The first group to be judged will be our 10-12 year group, followed by
7-9, followed by 4-6, and then Infants to 3 which .... accounts for more
than half the entries.
3. Lastly, and more importantly, please talk to your friends and
neighbors and ask them if they have registered for the Osan Trick or
Treat Bash. There are two reasons we are asking people to register ...
1) we need an accurate count of children so we can communicate with our
38 offices/booths about the candy to purchase and 2) so we can provide
updates on this event as they become available. Because it is possible
we could eclipse 300 kids, we are expanding the walking area to
alleviate overcrowding to the best of our ability.
If you could, canvass your friends/neighbors and ask them if they have
emailed me. If not, please have them do that.
Again, more info to follow.

Pumpkin Carving Contest!
The Community Center is holding a PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST free for those wishing to show their creativity. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday starting at 1 PM each day. They will provide the pumpkins and some carving tools but if you happen to have your own custom pumpkin-carving tools, bring them along. They would appreciate if you could sign up today or tomorrow so stop on by or give them a call at the Community Center. It will certainly be a fun family event without all the mess at home!

Osan Trick or Treat Bash
Good Afternoon,
I am organizing the Osan Trick or Treat Bash. The event will take place
on 28 October 2010 at Buildings 916, 936, 937, and 938. The event will
start at 1530 and end at 1730. If you are not familiar with this event,
let me explain a little about it.
The event is an opportunity for families to bring their children by the
buildings mentioned above and have a fun, safe afternoon walking
together and getting candy. We had 165 children last year and expect a
bit larger crowd this year since it was such a hit last year.
There is four ways to get involved:
1. If you would like to hand out candy, email me at
mark.reuss@osan.af.mil. Provide me your office number and location. I
will be starting the registration process soon and will let you know how
many children to expect and how much candy to purchase.
2. If you want to decorate your office and compete for a $75.00 grand
prize, let me know as well. Judging will take place on 28 Oct, at 1000
hrs. The one change from last year is there is only one prize-winner
take all. 51 CPTS won last year and we do have 7 AF eligible to compete
as well. Competition should be good.
3. If you have children and would like to bring them, you can go ahead
and email me. I will take down the information and provide you more
details as we get closer.
4. If you want to volunteer to help in escorting, set-up, tear down,
children costume contest, please let me know. This event requires a lot
of help and I think the volunteers had just as much fun as the children
did!

Custom Card/Invite Designer: Kara Boynton
Hi. I'm Kara, a military wife and mother of two. Soon after I became a Mom, I found myself in a whole new world of birth announcements, holiday photo cards, and birthday invitations. I wanted something cute, personalized, customized, colorful, yet affordable. I quickly discovered I could meet these demands myself. I've been designing invitations, cards and announcements for family and friends in the States and I'd like to offer my services to the families at Osan as well. Printing services are even available on base at Studio 51, which means you can have those invites ordered, customized, printed and in your hands in about one week!
I love to incorporate your ideas or if you find an invitation/announcement that you like online, just send me the link and I can include those elements in a design just for you!
Please take a look at some of my work:
